Marwari Library occupies a place of pride in the heart of Delhi, Chandni Chowkand has been striving for the past 97 years towards the cause of promotingHindi ,our national language, worldwide. The library has a vast ocean of books pertaining to our national language, including some of the titles which cannot be found in any other library.The mission of the Library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing for value added services.

In 1948,the like- minded people of Marwari society felt the need of establishing a higher secondary school.The group of these people met Seth Ram Lal ji Khemka for a piece of land at Nai Sarak.Late Shri Seth Ram Lal ji Khemka agreed and donated the land for building a school.

History

In 1915, Seth Kedar Nath Ji Goenka started Marwari Sarvjanik Pustaklya to light the lamp of knowledge through books.In the years 1916-1933 the library was a center for the meeting for freedom struggle.

Library

The Marwari Library is one of the most well equipped library of the city. It consists of a central reading hall, newspapers and periodical sections and scholarly journal room.
